This is an Antique American quilt made circa 1880's-1900. It is a traditional Nine Patch quilt pattern. This piece has been beautifully hand sewn and hand quilted. quilt is exceptional for the condition of the brown fabrics. It is sooo hard to find quilts from this era containing these beautiful brown textiles. This is an awesome neutral jacket that will pair perfectly with your favorite pair of boots and jeans. The maker backed this quilt(inside jacket) with a beautiful floral fabric that you will want to show off. In our opinion the quilt is soft, light weight with medium loft, and has a moderate drape. Please note the sleeves are one inch shorter than our standard Aunt Ethel Pattern. We did have to patch a few squares but the mends blend seamlessly into the jacket. - The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
- This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.
