Anchors Aweigh! This is a chenille bedspread made circa 1950s to 1960s. It is a very rare and extremely hard to find nautical piece. To make a quilt, we backed the chenille with a contrasting red and blue polka dot fabric. This can best be appreciated when the sleeves are cuffed. This piece is not hand quilted, but rather completed with a long arm by Zoe Dawn. We used Czech Glass opalescent red buttons for closures. In our opinion, this quilt is very thin, very lightweight, and overflowing character. This is a size SMALL. Please see size guide and length measurements below. Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
