This is an antique American quilt top made circa 1940s. It is a traditional Grandma's Garden quilt pattern, but made in a very unorthodox colorway. The quilt top has been beautifully hand sewn. To complete the quilt we backed the top with a contemporary contrasting fabric that looks excellent when the sleeves are cuffed. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, soft, and a dream to wear. This is a Lady Lancaster 10/10. We used faux mother of pearl and gold bee buttons as closures. This is a size EXTRA SMALL. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
