This is an American antique crazy quilt made circa 1940s to 1960s. The quilt is loaded with a variety of fabric scraps ranging from men’s suits, upholstery fabrics to burlap. On top of the neutral fabrics the maker hand embroidered turkey tracks stitches in a variety of bright and poppy colors. We love this unexpected contradiction and that they used a chunky yarn. It adds so much dimension and interest to the quilt! You will also want to cuff the sleeves and show off the navy blue ticking fabric on the inside of the jacket. Please note, there is sun bleach on one of the cuffs which has been photographed. This jacket is a great candidate for a fur collar. We have shown our favorite option on this piece! If you would like a fur added, please reach out after you check out! In our opinion, the jacket has a great drape with medium loft(puffiness). We used ceramic vintage textured buttons as closures.
