Lightweight for denim with light to medium loft (puffiness).
This is an antique American quilt top that was made circa 1960s to 1970s. It is an amazing Scrapbook quilt. This quilt took hundreds of hours to complete. It is overflowing with hand embroidery and hand knotting which adds so much texture and charm. It is very rare to find these quilts and we always wonder how a family could let a piece of textile history go! The maker backed the quilt(inside of jacket) with a a fun and colorful paisley fabric. If you are on the shorter side and want us to hem the sleeves, just ask. We intentionally kept the sleeves long to show off the fabric. We used hand painted cacti buttons from the same time period. In our opinion, it is lightweight for denim with light to medium loft (puffiness). This is a size LARGE, please read size measurements below. Please note that most of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabrics reflect this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
