This is an absolute show off! This is an antique American quilt made circa 1880s to 1910. It is a variation of the traditional Log Cabin quilt pattern. The quilt contains 6304 pieces and was made by Mrs. Rousing of Pennsylvania. The quilt is masterfully hand sewn and beautifully hand knotted. These are the tiniest quilt pieces we have ever seen!! Saying it was made by a master is an understatement. This piece is beyond special. The quilt is in incredible condition for its age. It is filled with beautiful turn of the century fabrics. It is always a treasure to find earth tones from this era. There is also a large amount of pristine indigo fabrics. It is a Lady Lancaster 11/10. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, lightweight, and has a little loft. The maker backed this quilt(inside of jacket) with a cotton muslin fabric. Please note, this is a size MEDIUM. Please read the size measurements below. There is a little bit of brown color bleed on the back of the jacket. If you have any questions please direct message us and we are happy to bore you with many more details.
