This piece takes the chore coat to the next level! Lady Lancaster found rare Barkcloth fabric from the 1950s to 1970s and backed it with turn of the century reproduction fabric. It was long armed by our good friend Zoe Dawn. We love the western motif. At some point this piece was a bedspread or drapes in a boys bedroom during the mid century. The backing is rad and can best appreciated when the sleeves are cuffed. This jacket goes out to all the cowgirls and surf cowgirls. In our opinion, the jacket is thin, super comfortable, and has no batting or loft(puffiness). We used wooden buttons as closures. This jacket is designed to fit oversized. Please read the measurements below to understand fit. If you have any questions please direct message us and we are happy to bore you with many more details.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
