This is a vintage American quilt made circa 1960's to 1970's. It is a Cathedral Window Quilt Pattern. This quilt pattern was inspired by Stained Glass Windows. Cathedral Window Quilts are different than most traditional quilts built upon a square. They do not have batting or loft. They have many many layers of folded fabrics. It is very difficult and time consuming to make a quilt using the Cathedral Window technique. We love all the bright colors and cheerful prints in this jacket. We have added mid century fabric covered Orange Buttons as closures to this jacket. Cathedral Window Quilts are more structured than traditional quilts. This is a size S. Please see size guide below and if you have any questions on size or fit please direct message us and we would be happy to help.
- Do not order this jacket without considering and reviewing the size chart. If you are on the borderline of a size, please size up for best results.
- This jacket has been preloved and will show wear appropriate for its age.
Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
