This is an American antique quilt, made circa 1930's to 1940's. It is a traditional Grandma's Garden quilt pattern. It has been beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn. Please note the contrasting and cheerful pink backing fabric(inside of jacket) which can best be appreciated when the cuffs are rolled. The quilt contains several historic Feed Sack fabrics. In our opinion the quilt is very soft, very thin, light weight, and has great drape. There is little to no loft(puffiness) in this quilt. This piece legitimately fits a US size 0-16 comfortably. Lady Lancaster designed this style to be a literal Blankie with arms.
