This is a vintage American quilt made circa 1960' s to 1970's. It is a traditional Lone Star quilt Pattern. This is beautifully hand sewn with crisp points and hand knotted using yarn for extra texture. The knots look like mini pom poms throughout the poncho. We are obsessed with the pink and red floral backing fabric(inside of jacket). We added large scale fish buttons as buttons that tie in the binding fabric and add whimsy. The quilt is thin, very soft, very light weight (with no batting). It is a summer weight quilt. It is very soft with a beautiful drape. We have included two pockets in the front.
