This is an American Antique quilt made circa 1890's-1919. It is a traditional Around the World quilt pattern. This piece is beautifully hand quilted, if you look close you will see the variation in each stitch. We have added vintage braided leather buttons as closures. This is a summer weight jacket which means the quilt was made for aesthetics and not warm. It is very thin and has little to no loft or batting. Please note the contrasting green and black floral backing fabric (inside of jacket). This can best be shown off when the cuffs are rolled.
