This is an American antique quilt made circa 1900 to 1925. This is a traditional Log cabin quilt pattern. This piece is hand quilted. We can not prove this however we have reason to believe it is an Amish quilt from Nebraska. The color palette and technique are quintessential Nebraska Amish methods. We do not need to remind you that these quilts are exceedingly rare and highly coveted. We have added a luxe genuine fur collar that is completely detachable for two separate looks out of one jacket. We have also added handprinted antique wooden buttons as closures down the front. This quilt is very thin, very soft and with a little loft(a little batting). Please not that this jacket is an extra small.

We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
