This is our new style which we are so thrilled to offer. This is an American, antique quilt made circa the 1930s-1940s. It is the traditional Grandma’s Garden quilt pattern and it contains very tiny pieces. This beauty is hand quilted and hand pieced, which is an absolute labor of love and a dead art. The fabric on the inside of the jacket, back of quilt, is absolutely darling and a great contrast to the business side of the quilt.
This specific jacket is a size small.
Do not order this jacket without considering and reviewing the size chart. If you are on the borderline of a size, please size up for best results.
Please note: this is considered a summer weight quilt. Summer weight quilts were made strictly for aesthetics and not for warmth. It goes without saying that this is a very lightweight, thin quilt.
Lady Lancaster found the buttons while antiquing. They are mother of pearl or shell buttons.
