This is an American, antique quilt made circa 1940s. It is a variation of the Jacobs Ladder. This piece has been hand quilted. We have used wooden round buttons as closures. Perhaps our favorite feature of this quilt is the contrasting blue floral backing fabric. This can best be appreciated when the jacket is worn unbuttoned or the cuffs are rolled. In our opinion, this quilt is very thin, very soft, very light weight with a little loft (batting or puffiness). This is a size Small. Please see size guide below and feel free to reach out via Direct Message to ask any questions about size or fit.
- This quilt is a lightweight quilt and it is very soft.
- Do not order this jacket without considering and reviewing the size chart. If you are on the borderline of a size, please size up for best results.
- This jacket has been preloved and will show wear appropriate for its age.
Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
