• This blue and white checkerboard quilt has been hand-knotted. It has been hand-knotted and hand-sewn. We are unable to credibly date this quilt. We absolutely love the texture of the embroidery thread knots.
• In our opinion, this quilt is extremely soft and very thin. There is no loft and no batting. It is a summerweight quilt and never made for warmth, but only for aesthetics.
• PLEASE NOTE: one of the pockets is a fraction lower and for the critical eye it is most obvious when the garment is buttoned. When the garment is open, the pockets appear straight. If this is a detail that would bother you, please do not consider this piece. In addition: please see measurements before purchasing as the sleeves on this piece are not as long as the Ethel sleeves. They are not meant to puff.
• Please note: we added an oversized, antique, hand-carved, wooden button for a closure.
