We know this because the designer and maker, Leora Beckner, hand embroidered this information into the quilt. We have preserved this provenance and placed it on the inside of the jacket. \u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eThis is a family scrapbook quilt that was most likely made as a memorial piece to “our Daddy Henry, 1897 - 1972.”\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e The quilt is l\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eoaded with hand embroidery, hand made patches, and hand appliqué. It is so cool and a complete hand skills show off. To complete the quilt we backed the top with coordinating green geode fabric. You will want to cuff the sleeves to show this off. In our opinion, the jacket is very thin and lightweight with no loft(puffiness).
