The quilt top was beautifully hand sewn. The top was featured in the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eIllinois Quilt Project exhibit from 1987-1995 at the Illinois State Museum. We saved this commemorative patch and placed on the inside of the jacket.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e To complete the quilt we backed the \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003etop with two different turn-of-the-century \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003ereproduction fabrics. This adds extra \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003echaracter and depth to the overall design.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e The quilt top contains v\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eery rare and valuable fabrics from its era.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e In our opinion, the jacket is t\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003ehin, super soft, light weight with very little loft, and has a great drape. This piece is very flattering. Please note, the s\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003eleeves are 4” longer than our standard Helen pattern.
