This is hand quilted. This quilt is very thin, very soft, with no loft (puffiness) or batting.  This\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eis a great piece and can be  worn on the reverse if desired.  \u003cspan\u003ePlease note: Due to the Kantha quilting technique they are more likely to snag as opposed to American quilting.
