This is an antique American quilt made circa 1930s to 1960s. It is a traditional Broken Star quilt pattern. The quilt has been beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn, which is a labor of love and a lost art. In our opinion, it is thin, lightweight, and has a super flattering drape. This jacket looks great with everything in your closet. Please note, there is subtle color bleed throughout. We have tried to capture this in the photographs. Sometimes these areas are more visible in the videos, which you can see at the end of the photos. Please note, the sleeves are 1” longer than our standard Helen pattern. There are also some faint and small age spots. They are mainly on the inside of the jacket. We have added tow iphone photos at the end of the listing, one image is of the inside and one is of the outside of the jacket. The spots are faint and hard to show. Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
