This is an American, antique quilt made circa 1930s. It is a one patch around the world quilt pattern also referred to as a postage stamp quilt. This piece is beautifully hand quilted and loaded with historical feed sack fabrics. It is a very soft, thin, and lightweight quilt. We have added 5 mother of pearl antique buttons as closures. Also we believe this piece was finished a couple decades after the quilt top was made as the backing fabric is a cheater quilt from a completely different era but nonetheless adds charm and interest to this one of a kind piece of art. We have tried our best to show you the inside of the jacket in several photos of the listing.
This Market Jacket is a cropped style with two generous pockets.

We have used braided leather buttons to add texture to the overall aesthetic, please see photos for more details.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
