This is an American, antique quilt made circa 1940s-1950s. It is the traditional Log Cabin quilt pattern. This piece is lined with a beautifully accenting floral fabric which can best be appreciated when the cuffs are turned. In our opinion, the quilt is thin, soft, with a great drape. However, we would consider this a medium weight jacket. The quilt contains wools, poly blends, tweeds, and cottons. We have included braided leather buttons as closures down the front of this jacket.
- This jacket best fits a size 0-8 depending on styling preferences and bust size. We consider this to be a size small. Please reference measurements before purchasing for a specific fit.
- This jacket features two generous pockets.
- This piece is lightweight but of medium thickness. It has loft to it but it is not heavy at all.
51” top of the back of neck to the bottom of the hem
21” laying flat, armpit to armpit, buttoned jacket
24” shoulder seam to the bottom of the arm, uncuffed
Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
