This is an American, antique quilt made circa 1930s. It is the traditional wedding ring quilt pattern and we believe this piece to be a scrappy or scrap quilt because of the variety of fabrics the maker most likely used up scraps saved in her sewing box over the years. This piece is beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn. Which is a labor of love and a lost art. It is extremely soft, very thin, and lightweight quilt. When worn this piece moves beautifully and you can see that illustrated in the listing photos. This quilt has two pockets and features beautiful flower buttons with petite gold centers as closures.
Please see the photos for best descriptions but we have added six opalescent, oversized beetle buttons down the front of this piece.
This jacket best fits a size 0-8 depending on styling preferences and bust size. We consider this to be a size small. Please reference measurements before purchasing for a specific fit.
This jacket features two generous pockets.
This piece is lightweight but of medium thickness. It has loft to it but it is not heavy at all.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
