This is an antique, American quilt. We are not able to credibly date this quilt. It is a variation of the Rocky Mountain Road or New York Beauty quilt pattern. This is also considered an appliqué quilt; however, the appliqués are not hand-sewn. They are machine-sewed onto the quilt. The quilt is hand-quilted. This is a spectacular artistic statement and a very rare find. Although this definitely has an Americana feel, given the color palette, this is a walking piece of folk art that should be appreciated for all seasons.
- In our opinion, the quilt is very thin, very lightweight. It has not seen a lot of pre-love so we do not consider this piece to have an excellent drape. The fabric does hold its structure more so than our pre-loved pieces.
- We have added faux leather buttons as closures.

This jacket best fits a size 0-8 depending on styling preferences and bust size. We consider this to be a size small. Please reference measurements before purchasing for a specific fit.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
