This is an American, antique quilt made circa 1930s-1940s. It is a traditional Appliqué quilt showcasing large scale Irises with a Basket Weave grid. This quilt is beautifully hand quilted and hand sewn, which would have taken hundreds of hours to complete. We added decorative faux leather buttons as closures down the front of this jacket. This quilt is thin, light weight, very soft, and comfortable to wear. It is a true piece of wearable folk art and this specific quilt jacket is exceptionally artsy and unique. Where do you see a jacket like this?! Please note there are a few places the appliqué stitches are loosening but for the most part this quilt is in excellent condition for its age.
- This jacket best fits a size 0-8 depending on styling preferences and bust size. We consider this to be a size small. Please reference measurements before purchasing for a specific fit.
- This jacket features two generous pockets.
- This piece is lightweight but of medium thickness. It has loft to it but it is not heavy at all.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
