This is an American, antique quilt made circa 1930s, possibly before. This is the traditional log cabin quilt pattern using extremely untraditional fabrics and colors. Whoever made this piece was a rogue and an outside of the box thinker. This piece is both hand quilted and hand sewn. The quilting however is quite elementary. It is not quilted by a master. This piece is backed with quintessential muslin fabric from its era. Our favorite thing about this piece is the excessive amounts of rare fabrics such as french florals, birds, and tassels. This piece is a lightweight jacket with a tiny amount of loft (puffiness). It is a very comfortable and soft piece to wear. We used natural colored oversize wooden buttons for closures. Please note in the wearers front right there is a small amount of color bleed on the fabric which was very hard for us to photograph. If this is something that would bother you please do not consider this piece. Other than that item we consider this piece to be in excellent pre loved condition.
Please see the photos for best descriptions but we have added six opalescent, oversized beetle buttons down the front of this piece
This jacket best fits a size 0-8 depending on styling preferences and bust size. We consider this to be a size small. Please reference measurements before purchasing for a specific fit.
This jacket features two generous pockets.
This piece is lightweight but of medium thickness. It has loft to it but it is not heavy at all.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
