This is an American, vintage quilt made circa the 1960s-1970s. It was made in the traditional Lone Star quilt pattern. It is hand-quilted and hand-sewn; however, the quilting and sewing are not expertly done. The quilt is in excellent condition and is very sturdy; however, due to the rooky stitches, there is some welting in the fabric. This is very hard to show in photos. For additional information, please direct message us and we would be happy to send you a thorough video on this topic.
This piece is such an unusual combination of colors and fabrics. It looks amazing with denim or white jeans.
Please note: there is a tiny discoloration inside one of the diamonds in the center star. We have added photos of this at the end of the listing for your convenience. Please let us know if you have any questions about this and we would be happy to send you more videos of this via DM.
We believe some of the fabrics in this quilt are poly-cotton blends. In our opinion, the quilt is very thin, very lightweight, extremely soft, and has an awesome drape. This quilt is very comfortable to wear.
- The shawl collar allows for several different style options. This jacket is meant to be worn right side up or upside down.
- This jacket has two clear snaps that disappear into the fabric at the bottom of the shawl collar to help the lapel drape nicely.
- The Aunt Ethel has slouchy shoulders and a generous fit, keeping in line with its bohemian roots.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years and we believe that makes them perfectly imperfect. This is what makes them a one-of-a-kind piece of art. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend spot cleaning if necessary.
