This is an American, antique quilt made circa 1900-1920s. This is the traditional Log Cabin quilt pattern. It is hand quilted, hand sewn, and hand knotted. It also happens to include what appears to be many scraps from the makers sewing box. There are wools, cottons, and polys in the quilt. Some of the fabrics have beautiful texture to them which adds depth and interest to the overall aesthetic. We have added antique wooden and brass buttons down the front of the jacket. We used authentic antique feed sack fabric to line the under collar. This is a very thin, very soft, and very light weight quilt. It is important to note that this quilt was quilted with embroidery thread, which is more pain staking than using a thinner thread. It also shows up more obviously on the quilt and we love this feature. This specific jacket is a size small, please see size guide for details.

  • Do not order this jacket without considering and reviewing the size chart. If you are on the borderline of a size, please size up for best results.
  • This jacket has been preloved and will show wear appropriate for its age.
  • Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
