This quilt is an American antique quilt made circa the 1940s This is a very, very unique one-of-a-kind crazy/scrap quilt. It is made out of fabric from military uniforms and other scrap fabrics all sewn in a graphic triangle pattern with flag border that we have preserved and used as the border of the jacket.
This jacket best fits a size 0-8 depending on styling preferences and bust size. We consider this to be a size small. Please reference measurements before purchasing for a specific fit.
This jacket features two generous pockets.
We added arms from a Ranger Airborn fatigue jacket as a nod to the original maker’s intent.
Technically this is only a quilt top, which makes it a thin and lightweight piece. Please see photos of the inside of the jacket, backing of the quilt, for a better understanding. This piece has great movement and drape. It is not starchy or stiff.
The buttons are antique buttons sourced by Lady Lancaster. Please see photos for more details.
If you have any questions at all about this piece, please send us a DM on Instagram and we would be happy to send you additional images and videos of this jacket.

Please note that all of our jackets are made from antique quilts and the fabric reflects this. Our fabrics are sometimes older than 100 years old and are perfectly worn. We believe this is what makes them special and is part of their charm. All of our garments are pre-washed in a special restoration quilt wash. We recommend only spot cleaning if necessary.
